JosephBlade's Logboek, 17 apr 12

last week I was intending to eat 2100 calories, but it turned out to be 2200. I've also been way less active than normal on account of being sick, being injured and being peeved about being sick and injured.

turns out 2200 calories (well, 2150 average) and no gym, just cycling to work is roughly what I burn. (which shows the output/input measurements of the diet calendar are actually relatively accurate, to my surprise)

yesterday I started doing more of my exercise program (slowly putting back chest exercises that I took out) which is more motivating. chest still tender but woke up without pain, so yay.

with some luck I can pull off 3 days a week again which would mean burning closer to 2400 calories / day. (possibly more, but that's the average from the dietcalendar)

anyways... enough with numbers.. I'm planning to lose at a slower rate, but I do still plan to lose some weight. the idea is to lose a little bit, while gaining a bit in muscle, lowering my fat percentage without losing too much bodyweight.

who knows if it works but it's a fun experiment. I still want to get rid of my belly, but I also want to eat more calories so that I have more energy to do things with. (and consume less muscle, again to make sure I train off the last little bits)

it would be hilarious to have washboard abs, it would be a pretty serious transformation in just over 6 months of serious dieting
