girrrrrlll same!! bahahaha. The truth is both and mostly, probably, somewhere in the middle.
At synchro practice (I coach) we use a tablet to film the girls and I'm always on deck, wet, in a suit and a cap in the background. 🤣🤣🤣 It's absolutely horrendous.

I always remember those two photos you posted a few years back, in your bikini in both, only difference was how you posed and you explained how that makes all the difference. Oh and we all know you're gorgeous, no matter who's taking the photo. 💕

The "truth" is, who YOU feel you are. I suspect the left pic is the real, beautiful you. And, when you have someone take your pic, make sure it is a good female friend, they have a more critical aesthetician eye than a man usu. Right? The pic on the right...maybe your hubby took?

Both are the truth, but only through the camera lens via a particular angle and light Photography is tricky, it's all about shadow, light and positioning. To get the closest to a realistic photo would be an environment that won't cast shadows and where one part of your body is not before the other. A two dimensional photo rarely captures reality. Any photographers our there? I've never perfected the art.
You do have a better eye than the person who took that second picture. You probably know yourself better than the 2nd photographer and you know how you look, so I will say that the 1st photo likely better represents what you look like. You look beautiful ☀️
