… I could only eat half. My body will refuse to consume any more chicken past a certain point, if given no other type of food.

@gz9gjg- I don't believe that binging is bad when balanced with fasting. Yeah I know I 'bitch and moan' on my Journal, but, that is just me 'thinking out loud' Hahah!

Interesting share that of the chicken alone you got your 'fill' but if other foods were involved probably not so much. I constantly have to tug my own reins whenever I think I want ... let's say ... 'bacon' but by the time I get to the fridge I've already pulled eggs, cheese, spinach, etc. Had I stuck to the 'bacon' alone I'd likely have been satisfied faster where the other foods were extraneous. Nice reminder here. While a well rounded selection of food is good, no one says it has to be all at the same time every time we eat.

And, yes, I know this was your pre-fasting feast not a single chicken binge. But the idea is still there because we are all eating a 'pre-fast' everytime, aren't we. Just most of the time my fasts are only 4-5 hours.

Body - I used to feel that way with the endless posts of fantastic looking food but I finally considered it a blessing in helping me get a handle on my 'visual cues created hunger'. Still working on the olfactory cues. I live two doors down from a restaurant and I constantly smell the grilled burgers when I'm in my back yard.
