Day 2 of California's order to stay at home. My new WOE is to count calories and portion control the food that is available at home. Hardly any produce - half an onion and a 10 pound bag of potatoes. Fresh milk, some American cheese and butter in the fridge. Otherwise everything else is in the freezer or in the cupboards. Today will have cream of wheat and a cup of hot chocolate for breakfast and take Bobby for a walk. Listen to music and maybe pull a jigsaw puzzle (usually November-December activities) out of the cupboard. Will try a couple exercises on saw on Dr Oz when I caught the last 10 minutes before the local news came on at 4.

Good morning Ms. Fritzy. Sounds like you have a nice day planned. Sounds like you are listing the ingredients for scalloped potatoes right there. My daughter and me were both talking about how much we wished we had a pet right now. It would be the perfect company. Good luck with the exercises. I am heading outdoors later as well.

Liv - I put cream of mushroom soup and lots of shredded cheese in scalloped potatoes. I only have about 8 slices of American cheese, to be used in 1/2 grilled cheese sandwiches! Really not sure what I'll do with the potatoes, but I know they will last awhile. My pets are wonderful. Great companions. Feel so sad about my cat Callie, found out Thursday she has lymphoma. But she seems fine, has a good appetite after getting a shot at the vet's. Bobby is wonderful! He'll do anything I want to do.
