Day 3 of a planned 3 days of eating

I went to the gym and lifted 🏋🏾‍♂️ weights. I lifted my maximum. I plan to do the same today. I am now considering starting my usual ‘no solid food fast’ on Monday rather than move it to Tuesday (because of the holiday).

I went to a pool party yesterday and it was nice to not be ‘the fat guy’. There were guys over 50 who you could tell ‘hit the weights’ and I was even able to just be ‘one of those guys’.

I did talk to one guy who had *massive* muscles. This guy squats 600lbs. However, he spent the time talking about how much pain he is in (he was on 2 Norco’s at the time). Made me thankful that I have not had an injury other than tinnitus to deal with (I stopped doing pull ups and that went away after 3 months).

Yesterday I tried OMAD (One Meal A Day). That ‘kinda’ worked. I only ate in a 2 hour window, but, I still managed to eat 3,000 calories and 300 carbs 🤦🏾‍♂️

Ahh that is a great feeling to not be the fat person. Not sure I would want to be in pain for a look either but we are shallow beings LOL. I can overeat on OMAD as well unless I start by eating protein. Have a good lifting day. I am trying to learn the kettlebell swing.

@liv001 - I am also not willing to be in 'pain' for a 'look' :) - - I just Googled "kettlebell swing". That looks like a perfect "compound movement". You will definitely be happy with that one :) 80% of my workout is "compound movements" because I get 'more bang for the buck' and the 'total body effect' is better. My only problem is that I have to have 'heavy weights' at the stage I am in so squats and dead lifts are the only way I can move large weight safely and even then I wear my weight belt and carefully stretch before...

3k in 2 hours!?!?! That is impressive 😆😆 Today I did training with my boss and so he ate peanuts as his lunch in his office. After a while, I asked him if he was planning on eating the whole bag and he was like yea... I looked at the back. There were 1200 calories in the whole bag! Crazy how easy it can be to over eat.
