Day 4 of a planned 5 days of ‘no solid food’ fasting
I went the entire day yesterday only drinking water until 2 hours before bed when I allowed myself a protein shake. I did this even though I was not running that day and did not expect to ‘move the scale’.
I hope to get down to 165lbs by Saturday. This is what I consider to be my “BMI Weight”.
Why is that so important to me? Well imagine that you have been ‘obese’ most of your adult life, or if you are like me, all you adult life. Do a calculation online to determine your BMI Weight.
Now, try to hit that number.
Now, wait nearly a year later and try to hit that number again.
If you are like me, this is where ‘the rubber meats the road’, ‘fat means greasy’, (insert your favorite ‘old saying’ here). The only way I am able to pull this off is to look at what works and to do that thing to the best of my ability.
In my case it is fasting and cardio.
