John10251's Logboek, 24 aug 18

I'm seeing very unusual results this morning. I have stepped it up a little this week. On my off days from the gym I have been performing 100 inclined sit-ups and exercises on my Total Gym and planks. I have been trying to extend that post workout feeling and I'm still chasing that 6 pack. Yesterday I ate 2172 calories and "Poorly" at 128% of goal but I did eat very dinner early. I met all activity goals. I expected to see a gain today but to my surprise, I loss weight. BF down .2%

exercise tends to raise your calorie allotment for the day. heck I sometimes add 800 to 1000 calorie burn which I can use towards loss or I can eat a bit over my normal rdi. I like to keep at least some of the calorie credit but most times I bank it all.

True, I agree. I haven't mastered how to best use those extra calories. I know recovery requires some energy too. I'm still logging and tracking the results of my journey...

Nice, yeah you can get away with going well above RDI and lose fat. I averaged 130% the last month while losing. Keep it up!

I do what Baskington mentioned sometimes(banking) but I notice I look smaller and it affects my mood, lol. When I eat enough to have only a 500 calorie deficit I look better the next day. Keeping those glycogen stores somewhat filled makes a good difference in the mirror for me.
