I have been away from fs for a few months. But made my way back on a diet and into a routine again. I am about 8 lbs heavier than I was in June but it is not that bad. Not having used the scale for months I was actually pleasantly surprised. I have kept very active and am in a good shape so with some patience I should be able to move some of the blubber that accumulated. Things got a bit hectic over the summer. My daughter married. And we decided to move!!! So a few months of packing we moved from the Canadian prairie into the mountains in BC. A bit of an adjustment. I added a pic of the view but it is a bit smoky so hard to make out. There is a nice lake here. I am enjoying it. But of course missing living close to my daughter. OK guys you will see me comment on some posts now that I am here again. Missed this community.

Hello!!! I saw your comment on my post and had to "run" over to see your journal! So glad to see you! I too had a wedding and posted pictures. Pressure filled but precious times! I hope you enjoy your new location! It sure does look like bc with fire troubles... Been there. I imagine youll miss the open prairie.... But maybe not the wind and bitter cold! Will you get more more snow? My people are east of Salmonarm. They get tons of snow... Quite literally! All their roofs have to be shoved so they don't collapse! 😃 Anyway, lovely to have you here. Moving is nuts & bonkers, but the lake is fantastic. So will you be hiking instead of running since the terrain has changed? Or do you plan on getting a kayak for the lake? So many possibilities 😎🏂🏻🚣🏻♀️🏃🏻♀️

Thanks all. JB I am kayaking almost every day. I have been able to feel my abs doing it which is good. I used not to be able to use my abs but being in shape helps. And I am still running. I would love to hike but I need to find someone to do it with. Due to animals probably not a good idea to go alone

Yeah the wedding was marvelous. The first part was the sangeet. And the next day was the ceremony and another party. So much fun and the two of them looked so happy
