END OF APRIL UPDATE

Was keto
Started 121.4 ended 120.2
Increased calories from average around 1400 to 1700
Used measures mostly and stepped on scale rarely
Getting less round around the middle
Was very active with walking and yoga especially
Had doctor's appointment and labs and I am healthy

Plan increase carbs and calories and maintain

Sounds like a successful first month of maintenance. You even dropped another pound. So yes, a calorie increase is in order.

thanks Oats. I think once I up carbs I will hold on to more water and that pound will not be there LOL. But I will tinker with the parameters a bit. It keeps me engaged and interested so that is a good thing.

Yes, probably. But you might look better with that extra pound of glycogen.

Great work, Liv! I'm curious as to why you had set your goal weight for 121.3. That is such a specific, non-rounded number to aim for. Is that a BMI?

@JustBananas. I use metric for myself... It is exactly 55 kg. A sort of round number I randomly picked once upon a time but it kind of fits.

@Allegra... For plan I like to start with the lower carb less glycemic ones. .I started with some keto bread and cottage cheese more veggies and a few berries. Then I probably like to try some oats again. I like over night oats. But it should all be slow so I can regulate my appetite as I come out of the keto mode
