Earlier this month I mentioned that August is Houston Restaurants Weeks, which benefits the Houston Food Bank. This week we're trying restaurants we've never dined at before. Yesterday we did Vietnamese, Le Colonial, (delicious); tomorrow Maison Pucha Café (French); Thursday, Latin Bites, Peruvian; and Friday, Café Rabelais, French (it's been around a long time, just never got there). If I can end this month not weighing more than where I started, I will consider that a hugh victory. So far, I'm still in the black, keep your fingers crossed for me.
