Look at my weight just going up, up, up lol. I'm ok with it today, it's my fault and I know what I need to do to turn in around.
On Saturday, I ate at old country buffet with the boyfriend. My weight actually wasn't that bad sunday after that feast but then I made breakfast that consisted of deepfried hashbrowns. On top of that I made this awesome honey and pecan chicken which I couldn't help but have seconds of, lol.
I'm confident that I'll lose these two pounds this week, I plan to continue going to the gym every morning. My gym buddy will be out of town Thurs. and Fri. I hope I make it there without her. I'm also attempting to cut out soda this week. I bought some diet green tea and I think that will help and hopefully I lose some bloating that the soda causes.
Besides food and dieting this weekend was crazy. I had a group project to work on and my group didn't do anything. I ended up having to put the whole thing together. I put out the main portion of the project and told the team we needed a few more parts and asked that other people handled them. Well, I received no response and ended up finishing the thing today. I hope that the teacher allows us to give feedback at the end.
One last thing, I'm participating in relay for life walk on may 6th. Someone from our team must be on the track at all times for a 24 hour period. I'm really excited about spending time with my friends, exercising and helping a good cause. eek Monday's do always turn out bad! This lady brought in pumpkin cake and what did I do but go and have a slice. Not just a slice a huge slice! I think I'll be ok though I just have to suffer through this evening with a smaller dinner and an apple for a snack instead of something sweet. I really have to work on my "Monday" attitude. I eat junk on monday knowing I have til friday to lose it. I guess I feel this way since the weekends are the only time I do anything. I am definately going to work on changing that attitude though...

Would love to know the recipe for the honey-pecan chicken, sounds amazing. I doubt the weight gain will stay for more than a few days. Keep weighing yourself, eat right, and you'll be down to where you want to be soon! I too am struggling with 2 lbs to my goal, I hope to get rid of them in the next few weeks, but it will be difficult with Easter coming :)

I'm sorry about your group partners. I absolutely despise group work- it's better to do it yourself and know that it is done right. People are so unreliable. Relay for Life will be a blast! Friends, exercise, and a good cause! I hope the pumpkin cake was worth it today! We can allow ourselves some indulgences, you seem to have it under control with your plan to have a smaller dinner, etc. Good luck this week! You're so close to your goal :)

one little bump and and you know what you want to do different. You can do it!! Even after the pumpkin cake you talked about going lighter in the evening so you aren't out of control or anything. Just pay attention...YOU CAN DO IT!!
