The fast is over :) Nice to get on the scale and see it one pound above my lowest weight in 25 years. However, I fully expect to go up in weight now that I have started eating solid foods again. I am really looking forward to fasting again next Monday-Wednesday. ** Fasting ** This is the first time I have ever done it and after the first day it really feels great. I don't do a real fast because I allow myself to take in as many calories as I want through liquids (but not juices because otherwise I would easily make a 1k calorie 'smoothie'). By the second day the hunger was gone. The empty stomach felt great and my body felt like it should. I am able to walk 5000 steps with a body that wants to move with me, not fight me because it wants to rest and digest the last meal. I eat from emotion. When I eat it feels pleasurable while I am eating and I just want to keep that feeling going. When I fast I can only get that through Green tea, Master Cleanse, Coffee (with butter). But, when you're done 'gorging' you have taken in 300 calories not 2000.
