My calorie count says I did well today but dinner felt decadent & I was surely full! We had a Lobster tail in the freezer, that Hubby said we should eat tonight. We bought a New York Strip yesterday so he said we should do Surf n' Turf....he'd grill them. I added asparagus & dinner was yummy!!
I did save calories for dinner....I had half a honeycrisp apple & some popcorn for lunch/ snack.
Hubby asked if we should open a bottle of Reisling we had in the fridge....tempting, but I reminded him I wasn't drinking wine for a few days. I told him he could open it for himself but he said he didn't want to drink alone.
I planted the 2 varieties of basil & some parsley I bought yesterday, this afternoon. Can't wait for the basil to be big enough to use....love cooking with basil! I watered some plants again, then "tied" up the 2 daffodil patches I hadn't done yet. I cleaned/ raked some leaves out of that area & called it a day.
Hubby & I watched one episode of American Idol this afternoon then one after dinner. We're up to date now. Tomorrow night we can start on the final episodes of "Ozark" that were released a few days ago.
We got in a walk this afternoon, before cooking dinner.
OK....off to bed 🛌 and my book 📚 then sleep 😴 💤
