Thanks, Carol. Strangly, the loaves look deceptively dark around the edges in the photo. This is the recipe I copied down from my mother's just before I got married. It is so funny to see my "perfect" cursive of twenty-seven years ago. 😁

They look delicious! I just made Joe a banana bundt cake with cream cheese frosting. I had one very skinny slice and he is eating the rest.

Just read your comments about taking your middle daughter to coast. What fun. I took my youngest daughter on a trip after highschool graduation. We drove from Columbus ohio, up into Michigan and then across to Canada. Drove across Canada to Niagara Falls, then down to New York and back home. It was wonderful. We did what we wanted, ate when we wanted. Hope your trip will the same. Be safe

#One! Wow! That is super cheap. I think these were about 30 cents a pound, but that was getting them at the fruit stand at a super price... Not typical.
